There are many different methods for contacting spirits and tapping into psychic energy. One of the easiest is with a pendulum. For centuries, the pendulum has been used for predicting the future and seeking answers to life's pressing questions.
What is a Pendulum?
A pendulum is a simple tool which is used for communicating with and receiving guidance from the spirit world. It is made of a weighted object attached to a string of chain. You can purchase a pendulum for $15 to $60. A pendulum can also be made from any small item which can be attached to one end of a chain and allowed to swing freely. Some people use a crystal or stone. A personal item such as a ring or any object that has a little weight to it also works well.
How Does A Pendulum Work?
A pendulum responds to energy. Every living thing is surrounded by energy. Just as radios pick up information from unseen radio waves, the pendulum works as a powerful antenna that receives information from the vibrations and energy waves emitted by thoughts and spirits. A pendulum is a tool which helps connect you with those energies.
It is believed that a pendulum is moved by spirits, which are also composed of energy. Some people are sensitive to spirits. When one is present, an eerie feeling surrounds them. The hair may stand up on the back of their neck, they may get chills for no apparent reason or feel as if someone is watching them when they are alone. Others report no unusual sensations. Regardless of whether or not you can sense a spirit, you will get an accurate answer from a pendulum if it is used correctly.
How Do You Use a Pendulum?
To use a pendulum, choose a time when you will not be disturbed. Sit at a table. Rest one elbow on the table and hold the end of the chain between your thumb and index finger. Ask a "yes" or "no" question while holding your arm and the chain as still as possible.
Within a few seconds the pendulum will start to move. In most cases, if the pendulum swings in a circle either clockwise or counter clockwise, the answer to a question is yes. If the pendulum swings back and forth, the answer is no. There are exceptions to this rule. A person's energy will help determine the direction of the pendulum's response. Take a few moments to ask the pendulum which direction is related to which response. After a few sessions, the direction in which the pendulum responds to questions will be clear.
When finished, thank the spirit for the guidance it provided and make notes on the answers received. Notes are helpful to refer to and can be expanded on in future sessions.
