Learn the top five relationship mistakes women make that men find annoying, irritating and even downright disturbing.

Have you ever had a man you cared for abruptly end a relationship. Do you often wonder why men seem disinterested after a few dates or why you can't seem become involved in a committed partnership?

In all relationships, there are common blunders women make which men find annoying, irritating and even downright disturbing. Most men would prefer to assume a code of silence or end a relationship completely rather than discuss these issues with their partner. Read on to learn the most common pitfalls and how to avoid them.

Unresponsiveness in Bed

All men have a natural desire to feel successful. A woman who doesn't express her pleasure during lovemaking, either physically or verbally, makes her partner feel as if he's failed. Some men even view a woman's silence as a passive way of expressing anger or resentment. Most men find a sexual relationship more satisfying with a woman who can show her pleasure through her movements, by making sounds or by offering words of approval.

Poor Personal Hygiene

Men are more visually aroused than women. Just as it is easy for them to become turned on at the site of an attractive woman, it is just as easy for them to become turned off by underarms and legs which need to be shaved, bad breath or skin, facial hair, baggy clothing, too much makeup, body odor and chipped nail polish.

Unhealthy Body Image

Men are attracted to independent, confident women. The more a woman puts herself down and points out her physical flaws, the more a man will notice them and even begin focusing on them. If you don't like something about yourself, work to change it or refrain from discussing it. When your partner compliments a part of your body you don't particularly care for, simply smile and say "Thank you."

Talking About Former Lovers

Although a man may tolerate it or even appear curious when the subject comes up, no man is truly interested in hearing about a woman's previous partners. Men are sensitive to criticism, even criticism directed towards those they have never met. When you complain about a former lover, your partner must face the angry, unforgiving side of your personality. Most find that frightening and some may even fear they will never be able to please you or that you may eventually express the same feelings about them.

Being Excessively Needy and Clingy

Although men are attracted to sensitive, vulnerable women, most are turned off by a woman who is weak, wimpy and whiny. A woman who relies too much on her partner for fulfillment rather than becoming independent and self-sufficient appears needy and clingy. A man's sexual desire typically declines when that type of behavior leads to him to assume the role of a parent in the relationship as the woman assumes the role of a child.
